FYI: in this short TV spot for Weight Watchers Oprah says the word "bread" passionately FIVE TIMES! #carbaddicted. If she is losing weight, it despite bread and not because of it.
One of the questions I'm asked repeatedly is about artificial sweeteners. Which is the best? Are any of them ok?
I am cautious about them because they appear to raise insulin. Insulin is a hormone which turns on fat storage mode. It triggers increased hunger, cravings and ultimately weight gain if as as result, you eat some more food.
