"But I'm not fat. Why should I change my diet?"

A recently published study showed that even people who Have normal body mass index (BMI) yet have bigger waistlines have a higher risk of disease. Excess carbs and sugar are responsible for belly fat. Improving body composition is the key not body weight necessarily. If you go low carb and you have fat to lose, it will help you get it off. Don't worry about whithering to nothing, that doesn't happen.
REASONS TO REDUCE CARBS
  • some form of carbohydrate restriction will benefit every person
  • improves apetite regulation, less need to snack
  • increases energy levels so you actually want to be active
  • improves blood lipid ratios, blood pressure
  • weight loss, burn off excess fat
  • reduce vascular inflammation, which is the cause of most modern diseases, and is linked to CVD, diabetes, dementia, cancer
  • increase whole, real foods leading to an increase in nutrients
