There are many excellent Low-Carb and Keto books on the market. Here are a few good ones I have come across and can recommend. Click the cover images of the books which interest you to be taken straight to Amazon.com.
This is the book that turned everything I thought I knew about diet upside down. Science journalist,  Gary Taubes looks at 50 years of low fat orthodoxy and proves it was a big failed experiment on the American public. It lead to the epidemic of obesity and diabetes which is unfolding presently. I went keto as I read this book.
This is the book that my most successful weight loss patient used to lose 100 pounds so far and greatly improved his diabetes.
The chapters are 1-2 pages long tops. It's fun, easy reading and practical.
It's a great little handbook to  keep at bedside. It might be the only diet and exercise book you ever need.
In this book, Ivor Cummins, a world-class engineer , and Dr. Jeff Gerber, a family doctor who is widely regarded as a global leader in low-carb nutrition, team up to present their unique perspectives from their extensive clinical, medical, and scientific/research experience. Together, Cummins and Gerber crack the code that shows you how to eat the foods you enjoy, lose weight, and regain robust health. They reveal how the nutritional “experts” have gotten it so wrong for so long by demonizing healthy natural fats in our diets and focusing on cholesterol and LDL as the villains. In fact, as the authors reveal by drawing on the latest peer-reviewed global research, eating a high percentage of natural fats, a moderate amount of protein, and a low percentage of carbs can help you lose weight, prevent disease, satisfy your appetite, turn off your food cravings, and live longer.
Do you have lingering doubts about meat, cheese and dairy? Are you not yet convinced that it's really OK to start eating them again? This is the book that will put those fears to rest forever. I can not recommend this book enough. Written by an excellent science journalist Nina Teicholz.

Real Food for Pregnancy: The Science and Wisdom of Optimal Prenatal Nutrition

Can't get pregnant? Planning to get pregnant? Already are pregnant?

Prenatal nutrition can be confusing. A lot of the advice you’ve been given about what to eat (or what not to eat) is well-meaning, but frankly, outdated or not evidenced-based. In Real Food for Pregnancy, you’ll get clear answers on what to eat and why, with research to back up every recommendation. Author and specialist in prenatal nutrition, Lily Nichols, RDN, CDE, has taken a long and hard look at the science and discovered a wide gap between current prenatal nutrition recommendations and what foods are required for optimal health in pregnancy and for your baby’s development. There has never been a more comprehensive and well-referenced resource on prenatal nutrition. With Real Food for Pregnancy as your guide, you can be confident that your food and lifestyle choices support a smooth, healthy pregnancy.
